From the villa a pedestrian path of Roman origin leads downhill (800m) to the centre of Argegno. The lakeside village offers a small but idyllic setting with a few restaurants, grocery store and ferry station. Argegno is situated half way between Como (20 km) and Menaggio (15 km) – part of the central ‘golden’ triangle with Bellagio and Varenna – the perfect place to easily explore all major tourist destinations of Lago di Como.
