La Verrière

Hidden away in the magnificent Vaucluse, deep in the heart of France's Provence, a private estate whose first foundation was as a Medieval priory. A successful working winery since 2006, the Chêne Bleu Estate is surrounded by hectares of vineyard, olive and fruit groves, as well as a lush woodland inhabited by wildlife as well as a very numerous flock of locally bred sheep, all within a protected Natural Reserve.
La Verrière, founded in 1427, is restored to the highest standards of luxury and comfort with great care for architectural harmony, historical authenticity and compatible landscaping. Five luxurious suites spread through the main villa and two detached guest suites face the swimming pool terrace, with its large heated infinity pool, outdoor kitchen with grill and spacious dining area, all overlooking the vineyards. The Italian chef blends classic recipes with French haute cuisine, growing all his produce in the organic gardens, and hosts cooking classes at the villa. Guests can enjoy wine tastings at the winery and will have their own devoted butler and housekeeping team at their disposal throughout the holiday, while their children will visit the play area built especially for them just below the main terraces, or visit the fishing pond with its carp and frogs, as well as the vast tennis courts around the back of the winery. Helicopter landing pad available.
