La Ferme du Mont Blanc

Redesigned by celebrated French architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte and painstakingly restored over more than a decade, La Ferme du Mont Blanc is widely regarded as the most beautiful chalet in Megève — and it is not a difficult case to make. A traditional 19th-century farmhouse with its original 1906 roof structure intact, it has been transformed into over 1,000 square metres of extraordinary alpine living, where wood, glass, and raw materials combine with clean contemporary lines to create a constant, luminous play of transparency and light. And framing all of it, from every room and every terrace: an unobstructed, unimpeded view of Mont Blanc.
Nine beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and private terrace, accommodate up to 18 guests in surroundings that are as quietly dramatic as the mountain beyond. The vast main lounge — anchored by a grand fireplace and opening directly onto the sun-facing balcony — is a room made for long mornings and slow evenings, while the ultra-modern independent kitchen stands ready for the best private chefs. The attic dining room, with its soaring original roof structure, is simply one of the most spectacular dinner settings in the Alps. A bar, an indoor swimming pool, and a hammam complete an amenity list that leaves nothing wanting.
Part of the exclusive Les Chalets des Fermes collection, La Ferme du Mont Blanc comes with the full five-star service of Les Fermes de Marie — one of Megève's most celebrated hotels — at guests' complete disposal throughout every stay.
