Secluded, with few neighbours, yet within easy walking distance of Capalbio's ancient medieval walls, this is a home that feels genuinely rooted in its landscape.
Restored by an interior decorator and arranged across a main house and separate guest house, the villa sleeps up to 10 guests across seven ensuite bedrooms. The main house offers four doubles upstairs — a master suite with study and balcony, a further double also with balcony, and two large doubles — alongside a very large living room, fully equipped kitchen, indoor dining room, and a generous covered outdoor living room on the ground floor. The guest house adds two further large ensuite doubles and a family room, giving groups the ideal balance of shared space and privacy.
Outside, a garden planted by the owner's mother — a well-known Italian landscape designer — frames a 20-metre swimming pool and creates a sense of deep, fragrant seclusion. A tennis court is also available.
The long sandy beach at La Dogana is 7 kilometres away; Porto Ercole and Porto Santo Stefano are 30 minutes for boat hire and island day trips. The Tarot Garden of Niki de Saint Phalle is 10 minutes by car, Saturnia's thermal springs 45 minutes, and Rome Fiumicino just over an hour. A full-time housekeeper and gardener are included; a cook is available on request.
